Bring your own telephony
BYO telephony means you keep your store phone numbers (DIDs) on your carrier account. CallsBack.ai answers those lines as your AI receptionist — we do not require you to port numbers onto a CallsBack-owned trunk.
What stays yours
- Store DIDs remain on the customer carrier account.
- You control number inventory, porting, and carrier billing.
- Setup requires STIR/SHAKEN inbound verification ON so each inbound leg can carry a verification signal.
Status
In testing. The portal wizard stays behind TENANT_BYO_TELEPHONY (default off) until a demo tenant clears the gate. Ask hello@callsback.ai for an early connect.
